Lycium Shawii

A color-pencil study of Lycium Shawii, a native plant species found in the United Arab Emirates. This rigid thorny and bushy shrub has pea-sized edible red berries and elongated tubular mauve-colored flowers. The leaves of this vegetation were used to treat jaundice.
